About us
A local shop, not a call center
Roadrunner Lock and Key is a locally owned mobile locksmith in Albuquerque, run by Genaro Vasquez from the shop at 3803 3rd St NW. We're open 24/7 for car, home and business lockouts, key fobs, rekeying and locks.
How we work
Most people call a locksmith when something has already gone wrong. They're locked out of their car in a parking lot at night, or they just lost their only key fob, or a key snapped off in the front door. That's not the moment to be figuring out who to trust or what's fair to pay. So we keep it simple.
- The price comes first. Tell us what happened, where you are and what the vehicle or lock is. We quote the price on the phone before anyone drives out.
- A real arrival time, not a website promise. Where you are and what is already on the board change the drive, so we tell you when we call.
- A business you can check. A 505 number, a street address on Google Maps, and a van with the name and number on the side.
- One call for car, home and business. Lockouts, lost car keys, key fob replacement and programming, rekeying, lock repair and installation.
Where we go
The shop is in Albuquerque, and we cover the metro and the towns around it: Corrales, Bernalillo, Rio Rancho, Cedar Crest, Enchanted Hills, Placitas, Los Lunas, Belen and Santa Fe. Every town page lists the honest drive from the shop. See all service areas.
What customers say
We have 132 Google reviews, and you can read every one of them on our Google Business Profile. We don't copy reviews onto this site and dress them up. If we did a job for you, a Google review helps the next person find a real local locksmith.

The 505 Test
Some locksmith ads that say "Albuquerque" are call centers somewhere else. They send whoever is free and set the price once the tech is standing next to your car. Four checks sort them out in a minute. Run them on anyone you call, including us.
